light fare, speeches, a raffle and a silent auction
Come join us on scenic Cape Cod for a 2-2.5 mile Walk 'n' Roll down the Harwich Bike Trail/Harwich spur of the Cape Cod Rail Trail and raise funds for the FSH Society! (Trail is approximately one mile each way).
In addition to the Walk and Roll, there will be a silent auction and raffle for a beautiful painting donated by a local gallery (see painting below). Individuals can also congregate and socialize. There will be several short talks by FSH Society on its efforts and from local FSHD researchers Peter Jones, Ph.D. and Takako Jones, Ph.D. on FSHD research happenings so please stay around after the walk/roll to see auction items and hear brief updates on the research and to ask questions of the researchers.

Click here for map in PDF Walk from Harwich Community Center south on sidewalk on Oak Street to bike trail. West on bike trail to rotary and back. Round trip 2-2.5 miles. Those wishing longer route can go north at rotary to Queen Anne Road, adding another 2 miles. Nice conservation site just before Queen Anne.
Directions to Harwich Community Center at Oak Street
Take Exit 10 of US Highway 6. Go south on State Road 124 a very short distance to the first traffic light. Turn left onto Queen Anne Road. Take a right onto Oak Street. The community center will be on your right.
