The FSH Society FSHD International Research Consortium workshop will be held as an ancillary/Satellite event to the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 7am-5pm at the ASHG headquarters hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA. The arrangements with ASHG and the hotel and room assignment are finalized.
Silvère van der Maarel (Leiden University) and Kathryn Wagner (The Johns Hopkins Hospital) will be the scientific co-Chairs.
Early registration deadline: October 10, 2008
Late registration deadline: November 3, 2008
Abstracts due by: October 3, 2008
Assignments for Poster/Presentation made by: October 17, 2008
There is no registration fee to attend the meeting. Travel and hotel arrangements are made own your own and can be made through ASHG.
Please send registration request with names of people attending from your lab/institution and submit abstracts to all three organizers by e-mail e.g. Kathryn Wagner, M.D., Ph.D., Silvere van der Maarel, Ph.D., and, Daniel Paul Perez
2008 is shaping up to be one of the most significant years in basic and clinical research for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy.
